Tree cabling and bracing can be an excellent way to extend the life of a tree. Many trees have structural defects or have been weakened by weather, but do not need to be removed. Our tree service techs are trained to identify these sorts of problems.
- Tree cabling is the installation of cables between major structural limbs within a tree. Tree cabling provides additional support that will not only strengthen a tree, but prevent or reduce storm damage from wind, snow, and ice loads.
- Tree bracing is usually the installation of a steel rod to protect a weak or split crotch. This rod is supported by cables installed in the canopy.
The tree service technicians at Arborist Prime can answer any questions you might have, and our techs can provide you with options and a free estimate on the cost of tree cabling or tree bracing. They may also advise you if the service is actually needed, or if another option is a better choice.
